One UI 5.0 based on Android 13, a stable update, is now available for Samsung Galaxy A52 series handsets. As of now, this update is available only for users residing in Russia. If you are a galaxy A52 owner, you may receive the stable update by this month’s end or in the first week of December 2022. This new update has the Build number “A525FXXU4CVJB” and it comes equipped with the Nov 2022 security patch.
OneUI 5.0 has already been rolled out to devices – S22, S22 Ultra, Z Flip4, Z Fold4, and A53 (last week). Now, this has been available for the A52 handset and we hope all users owning midrange phones from Samsung Galaxy will get this good news.
What’s new on One UI 5.0 for Galaxy A52?
With this latest update, users will be receiving the following features on their Galaxy devices –
- More advanced and good-looking Lock Screen with options to change shades of wallpapers.
- Modes: Samsung has enhanced this tool to bring several new features. They have also added custom modes to this tool. Configure the existing modes or create your own custom mode and use that whenever you require.
- New Slacks: Similar to the iPhone, Samsung now has included adding slacks on the home screen. As opposed to vertical scrolling, slacks on Samsung support horizontal scrolling.
- New icons: The new icons look exactly the same as the icons from One UI 4.0. However, if you look closely, you will find some fine improvements made to them.

In case you aren’t getting this update via the above method, wait for a few days more. Or, you may also download its firmware from Samsung’s official site and flash that on your smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A52 came last year equipped with Android 11. This handset has already seen an update last year and that was Android 12. One UI 5.0 is the third major update on this phone and this will receive one more major update by the next year.
